Core Staff is partnering with a growing industrial engineering group in Austin to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer who can lead high-impact design and optimization projects across manufacturing and energy environments.
In this role you will own mechanical design reviews, support equipment improvement initiatives, and collaborate closely with project managers, production teams, and external vendors. You will be expected to move comfortably between concept development, technical documentation, root-cause investigation, and on-site problem solving.
The right candidate enjoys leading technically complex work while still staying close to the day-to-day realities of plant performance, safety, cost control, and delivery timelines. This is a visible role with room to influence standards, mentor junior engineers, and help shape future capital projects.
